The basic aim of fair trade is to assist the disadvantaged producers to move away from poverty through creating market access under beneficial terms. The key fair trade organisations who have stepped up campaigns to bring the disadvantaged producers are as follows, Fair Trade labelling organisation(FLO) , International Fair Trade Association (IFAT), Network of European world shops (NEWS),European fair trade association (EFTA), besides, the significant development benefits the poor producers and the developing nations are getting as a result of fair trade  initiatives, there appears to be an inherent conflict between the current manifestation of free global markets and fair trade.
           The free global market tends to support the principle of comparative advantage wherein countries export what they are good at and import what thy are not good at thus creating the balance. Those who cannot will ultimately weed out, arguably, unrestrained movements of goods services of finance on the comparative advantage between nations offers the most efficient model of transactional business. We submit there fore, fair trade is fair because of the numerous benefits by way of incentives and subsidies it has provided for the poor producers for them to also feel among that they are part and parcel of the world.
